Day two

What a day.

Day two started with a harbor tour around the statue of liberty, Ellis Island, and some of the iconic Brooklyn bridge. Ending in Battery park.

After the harbor tour we went to the USS Intrepid museum.  Where we learned that the intrepid was one of the few naval ships to see combat in three wars (WW2, Korea, and Vietnam). We were also able to walk through the USS Growler. A balistic nuclear submarine.

After exploring the ships we walked to times square, Rockefeller Center, and St Patricks cathedral.

After finding a lost scout and returning him to his troop, we went to the 9-11 memorial.

After leaving the 9-11 memorial we walked down to wall street and the boys spotted the guys from impractical jokers. I am mot sure who enjoyed the encounter more, the boys or the guys from impractical jokers. All of the boys got autographs, and the impractical jokers looked like they were enjoying the attention from the boys.

We ended the day with with ice cream and a devotional.

Off to Philadelphia tomorrow.
